Muktidham was opened for all in February, 1999 for Community Prayer, Harinam Sankirtan at dawn, Meditation, reading of Scriptures and making Spiritual Uplift of the people. Discourses on the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, the Geeta, the Upanishadas, lives of Saints & Sages of all faiths are held regularly. Special & Common Prayer Assemblies are conducted on the 1st Sunday of each English Month and as per the Annual Calendar of Muktidham respectively.. Birthdays/Tithis of God Incarnates, Ekadoshi & Purnima Tithis, other Festivals and Ceremonies are observed with due Solemnity.and devotion. Chariot Festival, Worships of Divine Mother Durga, Bhabatarini, Jagaddhatri and the Janma Tithi Utsavs of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa Dev, Sri Sri Maa Sarada Devi & Swami Vivekananda including the Founder Maharajji Br. Bhakti Chaitanyaji and Swami Biswanathanandaji are duly observed/celebrated with Naranarayan Seva & Prasad Distribution.
People of all walks of life started realising gradual importance of spirituality and moral values in every sphere of life. The VMA set up this unit in 2010 for fulfiling the gap among the students, teachers and other categories of people. The subject matters are designed for ‘Personality Development' and 'Individual Excellence'. Each training session includes the curricula on Meditation and Lectures for the students, mothers, youths, teachers and for the staff of Govt. & Non-Govt. Establishments.
Sabhamandapam is the house of God, the dwelling place of the Divine, and a place of worship for all. Although God is omnipresent and His worship can be done in all places, still His presence is felt more in a Sabhamandapam than anywhere else. In the world all buildings are constructed for the fulfilment of various desires of men, but the Sabhamandapam is erected solely for man's communion with God. The Sabhamandapam is thus the parlour of the Lord where He receives His devotees and gives audience to all. A Sabhamandapam in this way, is a bridge between man and God.
The Sabhamandapam provides an environment which helps men to commune with the Divine. By constant and regular worship performed by the devotees holy vibrations are created and maintained there and help these people. Congregational worship produces a great effect on those who take part in it. If thought has any power, then many minds and hearts tuned to a particular attitude of love and devotion are bound to produce tremendous results.
The Sabhamandapam is a spiritual laboratory, too, where spiritual truths are realized and are actually practised in society for the elevation of man from the human level to the Divine. Common and Special Prayer Assemblies, Religious Discourses, Celebration/Observarnce of Janma Tithi Utsavs, Saradotsav etc. are conducted regularly at the Sabhamandapam as per the Annual Calendar of VMA Muktidham.
